I am so excited to welcome you to my first blog! I will be posting "sneak peeks" of recent photo sessions as well as letting you know what is happening at Ashley Henry Photography. Be sure to check in regularly. Along with sneak peeks, I will also be posting sales, specials (discounts on sessions) and little tidbits about me (I get to know you, why not get to know me too)
Well for those of you who don't know me here is a little about who I am! I married my soul mate and the love of my life, Mark in October, 2007. We are proud parents to our fur-baby, a Boston Terrier named India. I started doing photography when I was in high school and though I was told I had an "eye" for photography, it took me years to make my dream a reality. In the past 2 years photography has gone from a weekend "hobby" to a part of my everyday life I couldn't live without.
I do all types of portrait photography but have a special place in my heart for maternity and newborn photography. After being a nanny for 11 years and working with over 35 newborns I have a affinity for capturing those precious first moments.

Wednesday I met with Deborah for her last minute maternity session! Deborah and her husband are expecting a little boy in just a week or two!!! We almost thought she might be induced earlier and miss the chance to get her maternity session in! I am so glad little Milo stuck in there! Here are a few of my “faves”!!
Last Thursday I met with a couple families at a Highlands Ranch park for some holiday portrait sittings.
The first family I have shot their little boy before, Jackson is such a sweetie and was just so serious this time!

The second family of the day was Kristin and 6 month old Tavis! It was so sweet to see the love she has for that baby! Here are a couple of my faves!
Tuesday I met Suzanne and Conrad and their 2 week old twin girls Ava and Zoe at their home in Evergreen, Colorado. When I arrived they had a full house! Suzanne’s Mom was visiting from New Jersey and Conrad’s parents were visiting from Canada! The girls were just so sweet and took turns being awake and asleep! It was truly a family affair and everybody kept a great sense of humor when the girls kept peeing on both grandmas!
You should have seen the look on Suzanne’s mom’s face when I asked her if she was ok with naked (meaning the babies) She thought I wanted her to get naked!! It was a great moment!
